Frequently Asked Questions
If a phone is labeled as CPO (certified pre-owned), it has been previously used and has been rigorously inspected, tested and cleaned to meet factory-quality standards. CPO devices are as reliable as a new phone, but more cost effective to save our customers money.
BYOD is bring your own device. If you already own a perfectly good phone, we can check to see if it is compatible to be used on the Affinity network but validating the IMEI. If it is compatible, you can use it rather than buying a new phone.
All phones offered by Affinity Cellular are hearing aid compatible.
Deposits are credited back to your account 6 months after purchase on an active account.
- If for any reason you cancel your account prior to 6 months, the deposit will be credited upon the return of the device in the same condition it was sent out. If there is a balance owed on the account, it will be deducted from the deposit. If the device is not returned, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Phone number to transfer – it’s important that you do not cancel service with your current provider before the port completes.
- Current service provider name and the following must match what is on file with your current provider exactly, or they may not release the number.
- Account holder’s full name
- Billing address on file
- Account number
- The porting process varies. Mobile numbers can take minutes-24 hours. Landlines/VoIP can take 10 business days.
